Responsibilities
- Manage Federal IT Infrastructure: Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of federal networks, servers, and hardware environments.
- Security Compliance: Ensure all systems adhere to strict federal security standards and regulatory requirements (FedRAMP, FISMA).
- System Administration: Perform day-to-day administration of operating systems, including Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Incident Response: Lead incident response efforts to resolve technical issues and minimize downtime for federal clients.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation, including network diagrams and security configurations.
- Client Support: Communicate effectively with federal stakeholders and internal teams to deliver technical solutions.
Qualifications
- Clearance: Active Top Secret or Secret security clearance is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT or government contracting environments.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, Network+, or CISSP preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in TCP/IP, routing, switching, and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical audiences.
