Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize federal IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and cybersecurity protocols
- Develop and maintain secure databases for veteran healthcare records
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for VA-specific software systems
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on IT modernization projects
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, HIPAA, and other federal regulations
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execution
- Train staff on new IT security protocols and systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 3 years experience with federal IT systems
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and virtualization
- Experience with ITIL framework and IT service management
- Strong analytical skills for system troubleshooting
- U.S. citizenship required
