Role Overview
The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of federal information systems and providing critical technical support to agency stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Implement and maintain security protocols to ensure compliance with FISMA and NIST standards.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support to internal staff and federal clients.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy software updates and hardware upgrades.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all system configurations and incident reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent military experience).
- Certification such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, or CISSP is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT environments or large-scale corporate IT support.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, Active Directory, and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
