Responsibilities
- System Administration: Manage, configure, and troubleshoot federal IT infrastructure including servers, workstations, and network devices.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure all systems adhere to NIST 800-171 and FedRAMP security standards.
- Cybersecurity: Monitor system logs for anomalies and implement robust defense-in-depth strategies.
- Stakeholder Support: Provide Tier 3 technical support to federal personnel and assist with system upgrades.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Project Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of IT modernization projects within federal contracts.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret clearance is preferred; Public Trust clearance required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT environments or a related government contracting role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AWS, Azure, Windows Server, and Linux environments.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to brief senior officials.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of FISMA, DIACAP, and other federal information security policies.
