Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Provide advanced technical support, troubleshooting, and resolution for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Implement and enforce federal cybersecurity protocols, ensuring compliance with NIST and FedRAMP standards.
- Assist in the migration and modernization of legacy federal systems to cloud-based solutions.
- Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and system backups.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify technical requirements and develop innovative IT solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or network engineering.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security Clearance.
- Strong understanding of federal procurement regulations and ITIL frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Python, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
