Responsibilities
- Administer and secure federal information systems in strict compliance with NIST and FedRAMP standards.
- Perform daily system monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware and software infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud migration strategies.
- Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation and incident reports for government stakeholders.
- Ensure 100% system uptime and data integrity for critical federal applications.
- Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments to protect sensitive government data.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or network engineering within a federal or government contracting environment.
- Active Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one) is required.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, network security protocols, and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with senior leadership.
