Responsibilities
- Manage Federal IT Infrastructure: Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of on-premise and cloud-based federal systems to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Data Security Compliance: Implement and monitor security protocols in strict accordance with federal regulations and standards.
- Technical Support: Provide tier-2 and tier-3 support to federal agency personnel, resolving hardware and software issues efficiently.
- System Configuration: Configure, deploy, and manage network devices, servers, and peripherals within the secure government network.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate logs of system changes, incidents, and maintenance activities for audit purposes.
- Vendor Coordination: Liaise with external vendors to ensure timely delivery of hardware and software solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certification: CompTIA Security+ or CISSP preferred; Active Secret Clearance is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT support or systems administration.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, Linux, and Cisco networking.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues under pressure.
