Responsibilities
- Network Administration: Design, implement, and maintain complex local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN) for federal systems.
- Security Compliance: Enforce federal security protocols and ensure compliance with NIST and FISMA standards.
- System Support: Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for federal staff in a timely manner.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation, configuration baselines, and change records.
- Critical Operations: Monitor system performance and uptime to ensure continuous service delivery.
Qualifications
- Security Clearance: Must possess an active Top Secret or Secret security clearance (or be eligible for one).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT environments or similar complex network administration.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and firewall technologies.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
