Role Overview:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, maintaining federal systems, and ensuring data security compliance. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can thrive in a fast-paced government contracting environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support and troubleshooting for federal employees and contractors.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network systems.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal IT security policies and compliance standards.
- Manage IT asset inventory and perform regular system audits.
- Document technical issues, resolutions, and system configurations accurately.
- Assist in the deployment of software updates and security patches.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant IT support experience.
- Experience working in a federal or government environment is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
