Responsibilities
- Manage and secure federal IT infrastructure, networks, and servers in compliance with strict government standards.
- Oversee system upgrades, patches, and maintenance to ensure 99.9% uptime for critical federal systems.
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive government data from cyber threats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy scalable technology solutions.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and provide technical recommendations to senior management.
- Support disaster recovery planning and execute emergency IT response procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Federal or Government IT environment.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Federal security clearance (e.g., Secret/Top Secret).
- Strong working knowledge of ITIL frameworks, CIS controls, and federal compliance regulations (FISMA).
- Proficiency in managing cloud environments (AWS/Azure) and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
