Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure federal IT networks and infrastructure environments.
- Oversee cloud migration initiatives ensuring strict FedRAMP compliance and security protocols.
- Conduct comprehensive system audits and risk assessments to mitigate vulnerabilities in accordance with NIST standards.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior staff members on complex federal projects.
- Collaborate directly with federal stakeholders to define technical requirements and ensure project milestones are met.
- Respond to and resolve high-level technical incidents and service requests with minimal downtime.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent years of experience in a federal environment).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in federal IT systems, government contracting, or civil service.
- Active Public Trust or Secret security clearance (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Strong proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, including FISMA and NIST 800-53.
