Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for federal government networks and systems.
- Ensure compliance with federal IT security protocols, including NIST and FISMA standards.
- Manage system configurations, perform routine maintenance, and monitor system performance metrics.
- Document technical procedures, incident reports, and system architecture changes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new IT solutions and software upgrades.
- Conduct user training sessions to improve technology adoption across federal offices.
- Respond to and resolve Level 3 support tickets within defined service level agreements.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, network administration, or federal contracting.
- Experience with government security clearance processes (Secret or Top Secret clearance is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and firewall configurations.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with senior government officials.
