Responsibilities
- Lead Project Lifecycle: Oversee the full project lifecycle from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, including government officials, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity and success.
- Resource Allocation: Manage project budgets and resources efficiently, optimizing team performance and maximizing ROI.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure all project activities adhere to state regulations, procurement policies, and IT governance standards.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality control processes to guarantee the delivery of high-quality software and system solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT project management, preferably within the government or public sector.
- Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or PgMP (Program Management Professional) certification is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (JIRA, MS Project, MS Office Suite).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
