Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for federal government systems during weekend operations.
- Monitor server health, network traffic, and security logs to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Conduct regular hardware and software installations, updates, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure strict compliance with NIST security protocols and federal regulations.
- Document incident reports and maintain accurate logs of all technical interventions.
- Collaborate with on-call engineering teams to resolve critical infrastructure issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance with favorable adjudication.
- Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and incident management processes.
- Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure during weekend shifts.
- Valid Driver’s License for potential travel between Virginia Beach and NC locations.
