Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals for government employees.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state information security standards and regulations.
- Provide technical support and training to staff regarding software applications and system usage.
- Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery planning.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate records of system performance.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent years of experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or network engineering.
- Experience with government systems or public sector IT environments is a plus.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, cybersecurity best practices, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (if applicable).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
