U.S. Federal Technologies is currently recruiting for a dedicated IT Specialist to support a critical government agency. This is a Weekend Shift role (Friday - Sunday, 40 hours per week) offering a unique work-life balance while contributing to national security and infrastructure.

Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and troubleshooting for federal IT infrastructure during weekend operations.
- Manage and monitor system alerts, ensuring 99.9% uptime for critical federal applications.
- Perform security compliance audits and patch management for servers and networks.
- Document technical procedures and incident reports in the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) compliant system.
- Collaborate with on-site federal staff to resolve escalated service tickets and infrastructure issues.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and assist in disaster recovery planning for weekend contingencies.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret Clearance: Must possess an active federal security clearance (Secret or Top Secret preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support, network administration, or systems engineering within a federal or defense environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Friday through Sunday) on a rotational basis.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders and senior leadership.
