Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, patching, and system monitoring on federal servers and networks during weekend shifts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve critical technical issues to ensure 99.9% system uptime for government operations.
- Document system changes, configuration updates, and incident reports in accordance with federal compliance standards.
- Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments to ensure data protection.
- Collaborate with on-call support teams during emergencies to resolve escalated issues.
Qualifications
- Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent military experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in federal IT environments.
- Proficiency with Windows Server, Linux, and network infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of FISMA compliance and federal security protocols.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with government stakeholders.
