Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for federal agency hardware and software applications.
- Monitor and manage network security systems, responding to alerts and resolving vulnerabilities during off-hours.
- Troubleshoot VPN and remote access issues to ensure seamless connectivity for off-site staff.
- Perform routine system backups, patch management, and server maintenance.
- Document all technical incidents, resolutions, and maintenance logs in the ServiceNow ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the on-site team to ensure a smooth handover of critical issues.
Qualifications
- Active Federal Government Secret or Top Secret clearance (required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; OR 4+ years of equivalent technical experience.
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word).
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently during weekend shifts.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
