We are looking for a proactive professional to ensure the continuity of critical federal operations during our off-hours.
Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 technical support and troubleshooting for federal agency systems during assigned weekend shifts.
- Monitor network infrastructure, servers, and applications to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
- Execute routine security patches, system backups, and configuration changes following federal protocols.
- Investigate and resolve technical incidents with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- Maintain strict adherence to ITIL frameworks and federal security compliance standards (NIST/FIPS).
- Document all incident reports, resolutions, and system changes in the central ticketing system.
- Collaborate with on-call teams during escalations to ensure seamless service delivery.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Information Technology or Systems Administration, preferably within a government or federal contracting environment.
- Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies.
- Must be willing and able to work full-time weekend shifts (e.g., Friday through Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
