Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal IT requirements and translate them into technical specifications for system development and integration.
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures compliant with FISMA and OMB guidelines.
- Conduct system performance tuning, security audits, and vulnerability assessments to protect federal data assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, security analysts, project managers) in a virtual environment to deliver projects on time.
- Document technical processes, architecture diagrams, and user manuals for federal stakeholders.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior analysts within the remote team structure.
- Respond to system incidents and troubleshoot complex issues affecting federal agency operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in IT systems analysis, specifically within the Federal, State, or Local government sector.
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance is highly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or FedRAMP authorized environments).
- Experience with ITIL framework, Agile methodologies, and project management tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote environment with strong communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites (up to 10%) if required.
