Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain federal network infrastructure systems during weekend shifts.
- Perform regular system backups, security patches, and software updates to ensure operational continuity.
- Troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues for federal employees with minimal downtime.
- Enforce strict cybersecurity protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments on assigned systems.
- Document technical incidents, resolutions, and system configurations in compliance with federal standards.
- Collaborate with on-call support teams during peak hours to resolve escalated technical tickets.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for a federal security clearance.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, OR 5 years of equivalent specialized experience.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+ or higher is required; Active Top Secret clearance preferred.
- Experience: Proven experience in network administration and server management within a government or enterprise environment.
- Schedule: Ability to work rotating weekend shifts (Friday-Monday) as required by agency needs.
- Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and VPN configurations.
