Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud-based server infrastructure (Windows Server, Linux) for federal clients.
- Implement and monitor security protocols to ensure compliance with federal regulations (FISMA, NIST).
- Configure and troubleshoot network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Conduct regular system audits and perform patch management to mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users and internal systems.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and incident reports for audit readiness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems administration, preferably within a government or federal contracting environment.
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Azure, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Experience with ITIL framework and incident management processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
