Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex server environments, including Windows Server and Linux.
- Manage Active Directory, Identity Management, and Group Policy for federal networks.
- Ensure compliance with federal security standards (FISMA, NIST) and ITIL frameworks.
- Provide Level 3 technical support and troubleshooting for critical systems.
- Conduct system audits and security assessments to mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive IT modernization initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance is highly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in systems administration within a federal or government contracting environment.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or Azure/CCNA are a plus.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance if required.
