Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights for state agencies.
- Generate and maintain nightly reports to support decision-making processes for leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot data-related issues and implement solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy and compliance with state government standards and regulations.
- Optimize database queries and reporting tools to improve performance and speed.
- Maintain documentation of data processes and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a government or large enterprise environment.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) reliably.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
