Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-wide IT systems and network infrastructure.
- Develop and enforce robust cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive state data.
- Lead remote troubleshooting and provide technical guidance to junior staff members.
- Manage cloud migration projects using AWS and Azure environments.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance assessments to ensure compliance with state standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality IT solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT systems administration or cybersecurity.
- Certification such as CISSP, CISM, or AWS Solutions Architect is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in network protocols, firewalls, and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for remote collaboration.
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of self-motivation.
