Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of the Information Security Program (ISP) in accordance with NIST 800-53 and FISMA requirements.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and security posture reviews for federal clients.
- Manage the security clearance process, including adjudication support and background investigation coordination.
- Oversee vulnerability management, patch management, and incident response planning.
- Ensure compliance with federal procurement regulations and agency-specific security policies.
- Train and mentor junior staff on best practices for federal information security.
- Prepare and present security reports to senior leadership and government stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with favorable adjudication.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certifications: CISSP, ISSAP, or GSEC required; Security+ or CISM preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in federal information security or information assurance.
- Strong understanding of federal acquisition regulations (DFARS, FAR) and ITIL framework.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
