Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the City's network infrastructure and hardware systems.
- Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive government data.
- Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of IT projects from conception to completion.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for internal staff and external stakeholders.
- Analyze system performance metrics to optimize efficiency, reliability, and user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology solutions with organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant government regulations and IT best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT systems management, preferably within a government or large enterprise environment.
- Proven expertise in network architecture, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and government IT compliance standards.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
