Apex Federal Solutions is currently seeking a highly motivated Federal IT Systems Analyst to support our mission-critical projects. This role is based in Louisville, KY, with a flexible remote/hybrid work model.
We are looking for a professional who understands the unique challenges of federal compliance and can deliver scalable IT solutions from a home office.
Responsibilities
- Perform systems analysis and design for federal clients, ensuring alignment with agency requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, test, and deploy IT solutions remotely.
- Ensure all technical work adheres to strict federal security protocols and compliance standards (FedRAMP, FISMA).
- Maintain and upgrade existing legacy systems to improve efficiency and user experience.
- Conduct troubleshooting and provide technical support to stakeholders across multiple time zones.
- Document system requirements, architectural designs, and technical specifications.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT systems analysis or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Experience working with federal or state government contracts is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and data security.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for remote collaboration.
- Ability to obtain or hold a Public Trust or Secret clearance (or equivalent government experience).
