Responsibilities
- Monitor and troubleshoot federal network infrastructure and server systems during night shifts.
- Provide technical support and assistance to federal personnel regarding hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal security protocols and data privacy regulations.
- Document system logs, incidents, and resolutions in accordance with ITIL standards.
- Perform routine system maintenance, backups, and security patching to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to ensure seamless handover of critical issues.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in IT or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or systems administration.
- Must be available to work the Night Shift (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM or similar).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal background clearance (Public Trust, Secret, or Top Secret) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and network troubleshooting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
