Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to veterans in an outpatient/inpatient setting
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by providers
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for coordinated treatment plans
- Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Maintain strict adherence to federal healthcare regulations and VA protocols
Qualifications
- Active Nevada LPN license required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to work independently and in team settings
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Must pass federal background check and drug screening
- Weekend shift availability (Saturday/Sunday) mandatory
