Responsibilities
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain critical federal network infrastructure during the night shift.
- Ensure 24/7 availability of secure communication channels and data systems.
- Perform routine security patching and system updates to mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Analyze system logs and performance metrics to proactively address issues before they impact operations.
- Document all technical procedures and incident reports in strict compliance with federal standards.
- Collaborate with day-shift engineering teams to hand over critical status updates and pending tickets.

Qualifications
- Active Top Secret clearance with favorable adjudication.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in network engineering or systems administration.
- Certification: CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or equivalent.
- Experience working in a 24/7 operations center or night shift environment.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
