Responsibilities
- Monitor federal network infrastructure and systems 24/7 to ensure maximum uptime and operational continuity.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues affecting federal applications and networks during off-hours.
- Manage and prioritize incoming help desk tickets and service requests in the federal ticketing system.
- Conduct routine security scans and vulnerability assessments on assigned systems.
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and system changes in compliance with federal IT governance standards.
- Collaborate with day-shift teams to hand over critical status reports and pending issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance (or eligibility to obtain).
- 3+ years of experience in IT support, network operations, or systems administration.
- Familiarity with federal IT standards (e.g., FedRAMP, NIHC, DoD).
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, and server hardware.
- Ability to work independently in a high-pressure, 24/7 operational environment.
