Responsibilities
- Monitor federal network systems and security protocols during night shifts to ensure 24/7 operational integrity.
- Execute routine data entry, record-keeping, and reporting tasks in compliance with federal regulations.
- Respond immediately to system alerts, incidents, or security breaches, escalating to senior staff when necessary.
- Conduct nightly facility inspections and verify compliance with safety and security standards.
- Communicate effectively with day-shift teams and federal client representatives regarding operational status.
- Maintain accurate logs of all activities, incidents, and maintenance performed during the shift.
- Assist in the testing and deployment of new software or hardware upgrades as directed.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for a government security clearance.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support, operations, or a related federal contract role.
- Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic understanding of network protocols.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and documentation.
- Reliability: Strong attendance record and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in a relevant field is a plus.
