Responsibilities
- Manage incoming correspondence, emails, and phone inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
- Organize and maintain accurate filing systems, both physical and digital, in compliance with federal regulations.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for senior staff.
- Prepare, compile, and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Assist in the processing of documents and ensure data entry accuracy.
- Provide general administrative support to the office team, including greeting visitors and ordering supplies.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive federal information and veteran records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of previous administrative or clerical experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for federal employment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable background investigation clearance.
