Job Overview
We are currently accepting applications for a Part-Time Federal Administrative Clerk. In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by managing information, assisting visitors, and maintaining essential records.
Responsibilities
- Receive, screen, and route incoming mail and correspondence to appropriate staff members in a timely manner.
- Manage and maintain electronic and physical filing systems to ensure accurate records retention.
- Perform data entry and update federal databases with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Answer and route incoming phone calls, providing general information or taking detailed messages.
- Assist with the preparation of reports, memos, and interoffice communications.
- Process travel vouchers and expense reports for federal employees.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area and common workspaces.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of administrative support experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
- Ability to pass a federal background check and security clearance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
