Responsibilities
- Perform general clerical duties including filing, data entry, and photocopying documents.
- Answer incoming phone calls, screen visitors, and route inquiries to the appropriate department.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and databases for departmental operations.
- Assist senior staff with research, report compilation, and correspondence.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages efficiently.
- Operate standard office equipment such as printers, scanners, and fax machines.
- Update and maintain departmental files and digital archives.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced office setting.
- Valid Illinois driver's license is preferred but not required.
