Responsibilities
- Greet and assist visitors, vendors, and court officials with professionalism and courtesy.
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate departments.
- Process and maintain accurate court records, dockets, and files.
- Receive and process payments for fines and fees using the state’s case management system.
- Prepare and distribute legal documents and notices to the public and attorneys.
- Assist in the organization of courtrooms and maintain a tidy, professional environment.
- Perform data entry tasks with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate’s degree in a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends or evenings if required by court operations.
