Responsibilities
- Conduct daily patrols to enforce park regulations and ensure visitor safety
- Lead interpretive programs and educational workshops for diverse audiences
- Monitor wildlife populations and document ecological observations
- Respond to emergency situations including search and rescue operations
- Maintain park infrastructure and assist in trail maintenance projects
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies on resource protection initiatives
Qualifications
- US citizenship and valid driver's license
- Minimum 1 year experience in natural resource management or outdoor recreation
- Wilderness First Responder or EMT certification preferred
- Ability to work in extreme desert conditions (heat, elevation)
- Strong communication skills with public speaking experience
- Proficiency in GIS mapping and data collection tools
- Pass background investigation and drug screening
