Responsibilities
- Process and maintain confidential veteran benefit documentation with 100% accuracy
- Coordinate multi-agency communications between federal, state, and local partners
- Manage electronic filing systems and ensure HIPAA/FERPA compliance
- Respond to veteran inquiries via phone/email within SLA requirements
- Assist with veterans' benefit application processing and status updates
- Support outreach events for veteran services in the Atlanta metro area
- Maintain detailed audit trails for all administrative activities
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required (per federal employment guidelines)
- Minimum 1 year administrative experience in government/compliance environment
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal background clearance
- Strong attention to detail with zero-error documentation handling
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings for outreach events
- Basic knowledge of veterans' benefits systems preferred
