Responsibilities
- Analyze complex personnel and payroll data to calculate accurate federal pension entitlements.
- Provide expert guidance to federal employees and retirees regarding retirement eligibility, survivor benefits, and plan options.
- Maintain precise records and documentation in compliance with OPM and agency regulations.
- Investigate and resolve complex discrepancies in pension calculations and service credit.
- Collaborate with HR teams and other federal agencies to ensure seamless retirement processing.
- Ensure the integrity of weekend operations and data entry procedures.
Qualifications
- Active U.S. Citizenship and ability to pass a federal background investigation.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in federal payroll, human resources, or retirement administration.
- Strong working knowledge of the Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS), CSRS, and Thrift Savings Plans (TSP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and federal HR systems (e.g., NJI, HRS).
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during the assigned weekend shift.
