Responsibilities
- Manage and process federal retirement applications, including CSRS and FERS plans.
- Provide expert guidance on Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) contributions and withdrawals.
- Conduct outreach to federal employees regarding pension eligibility and benefits.
- Ensure compliance with Office of Personnel Management (OPM) regulations and guidelines.
- Process pay adjustments and retirement estimates for active and retiring personnel.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records for all pension beneficiaries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Human Resources, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in federal benefits administration or pension management.
- Strong knowledge of OPM retirement regulations, FERS, and CSRS systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
