Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee federal health program implementation across Nebraska
- Analyze program data to ensure compliance with HHS regulations and reporting requirements
- Coordinate stakeholder communications including federal agencies, community partners, and state officials
- Develop program improvement strategies based on performance metrics and audit findings
- Prepare detailed reports for congressional briefings and senior leadership reviews
- Monitor program budgets and expenditures ensuring fiscal accountability
- Represent the department in community outreach initiatives and public forums
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in federal program management or compliance
- Expert knowledge of federal procurement regulations (FAR) and grant management
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau)
- Strong written communication skills for policy documentation and reports
- Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Experience with federal reporting systems (e.g., MAX, Grants.gov)
