Responsibilities
- Develop and implement federal program initiatives supporting veteran services in Southern California
- Analyze policy impacts and recommend program improvements to senior leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with federal regulations
- Manage grant allocations and budget execution for regional veteran programs
- Conduct stakeholder engagement with community organizations and government partners
- Prepare comprehensive reports and data analysis for congressional oversight
- Lead crisis response protocols during natural disasters affecting veteran populations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of program management experience in government/nonprofit
- Expertise in federal grant management and compliance (OMB Circulars)
- Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools
- Strong written/verbal communication skills with public speaking experience
- Knowledge of veterans' affairs programs and DoVA regulations preferred
