Responsibilities
- Develop and implement federal program strategies aligned with VA mission objectives
- Analyze complex regulations to ensure compliance with federal mandates and reporting requirements
- Coordinate interagency partnerships to enhance service delivery for veterans in Louisiana
- Prepare detailed program reports and budget proposals for congressional review
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute veteran-focused initiatives
- Monitor program performance using KPIs and recommend improvements
- Represent the VA at community outreach events and stakeholder meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in federal program management or government operations
- Proficiency in federal procurement regulations (FAR) and grant management
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex policy documents
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
- Experience with veteran service organizations or healthcare systems
