Responsibilities
- Develop and implement federal healthcare policy initiatives across Illinois and Virginia regions
- Analyze complex healthcare data to inform program improvements and compliance reporting
- Coordinate with state agencies, non-profits, and congressional offices on public health projects
- Manage grant applications and ensure adherence to federal regulations (CFR)
- Prepare congressional briefings and executive reports on program outcomes
- Lead cross-functional teams to achieve agency objectives and performance metrics
- Conduct site visits and program evaluations in Chicago and Virginia communities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years experience in federal, state, or local government roles
- Proficiency in federal grant management (SAM.gov, Grants.gov)
- Strong analytical skills with data visualization tools (Tableau, Excel)
- Knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, and CMS regulations
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- U.S. citizenship required
