Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds, including mowing, trimming, weeding, and landscaping to ensure a pristine appearance.
- Set up and dismantle equipment for sports fields, concerts, and community events.
- Perform routine cleaning of park restrooms, picnic areas, and facilities.
- Collect and empty trash receptacles; maintain recycling stations.
- Assist with the maintenance and minor repair of park equipment, playground structures, and irrigation systems.
- Monitor park areas to ensure visitor safety and adherence to park rules and regulations.
- Assist in the operation of the Community Center or pool facilities as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical ability to perform heavy manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
- Valid Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment is a plus.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
