- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Partner with C-suite to align innovation initiatives with ESG and digital transformation goals
- Secure and manage $5M+ annual R&D budgets for strategic technology partnerships
- Present technology forecasts to investors and industry forums at global summits
- Mentor junior researchers in ethical tech development and responsible innovation
Qualifications
- 15+ years in emerging technologies with 5+ years in strategic foresight or innovation leadership
- PhD or equivalent in Quantum Computing, AI Ethics, or Sustainable Technology
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on future tech implications
- Proven track record of launching technologies with >$100M market impact
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology adoption lifecycle models
- Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks for AI and biotech (FDA, EU AI Act)
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python preferred) and data visualization tools
- Certified in Future Foresight methodologies (e.g., from University of Houston)
