Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain geodatabases and spatial data models using Esri ArcGIS Pro.
- Analyze complex spatial datasets to support urban planning, public health, and emergency response initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex data into actionable geographic insights.
- Perform quality assurance on mapping products and ensure strict adherence to data standards.
- Create interactive maps, dashboards, and visualizations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide technical support and training to county staff regarding GIS tools and applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems, Urban Planning, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience in GIS analysis and database management.
- Proficiency in Esri ArcGIS suite (ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online/ArcGIS Enterprise).
- Experience with SQL and database management (PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
