Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive GIS databases and maps for county departments.
- Perform complex spatial analysis and data modeling to support urban planning and infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GIS data with other enterprise systems.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with all applicable standards.
- Provide technical support and training to county staff regarding GIS software and tools.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Urban Planning, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience using ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Server, and related geospatial software.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and database management principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Driver’s License is preferred.
