Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the lifecycle of server infrastructure, including Windows Server and virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Implement and enforce robust cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive government data and network integrity.
- Provide advanced Tier 3 technical support and troubleshooting for complex hardware and software issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy IT solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
- Monitor system performance and availability, proactively identifying and resolving potential outages.
- Conduct regular audits and compliance checks in adherence to federal and local IT standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Systems Administration or Network Engineering.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and PowerShell scripting.
- Experience with virtualization platforms and cloud technologies (Azure or AWS preferred).
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Ability to obtain a favorable public trust background investigation (Security Clearance).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
